In this video, University President L. Donald Shields announces his resignation from his post as CSUF president. He announces his intent to become president of Southern Methodist University. Chancellor Glenn S. Dumke and Dr. Claudia Hampton thank President Shields for his service to the university and announce that Dr. Miles McCarthy will serve as the interim president.
