Contains assorted documents on the life of Richard Hall Gilman, including a biography, newspaper clippings, and obituary. Contains an oral history transcript titled "A Few Highlights on the Eighy-Four Milestones In the Life of Richard Hall Gilman, As Told to His Wife" (1930).
Also includes an excerpt on the "Wild Rover," a ship Gilman sailed on, from Octavious T. Howe's "American Clipper Ships, 1831-58" (1967).
