Two men, three women, and two young boys. Disease may have struck the Shore family, as her brother, Roy M. Shore, died just eight days later at less than two years of age. The tombstone is still in place, and reads: "Sacred to the Memory of the children of V.W. and M.F. Shore." The cemetery was originally known as the Alamitos Cemetery, then (after 1900), the Westminster Cemetery. Today it is known as Magnolia Memorial Park, 12241 Magnolia Street in Garden Grove.
