Scope and Contents
Dr. Lee Bentley sits down with CSUF President Gordon for a weekly conversation. Episode #508's special guest is Thomas F. Riley, Supervisor of the 5th District in the Orange County Board of Supervisors and retired Brigadier General in the United States Marine Corps. Riley discusses education in Orange County and recalls his achievements as a supervisor and as a general. At the conclusion of the episode, President Gordon answers a few viewer questions. Episode #509's special guests are Dr. Anil Puri, Chair of the Economics Department and Co-Director of IEES at CSUF, and Dr. Robert Kleinhenz, a Lecturer in the Economics Department and Member of IEES at CSUF. They discuss the results of their study, "An Economic Impact Study of California State University, Fullerton." The study concludes that the university is an important economic force in Orange County. At the conclusion of the episode, President Gordon answers a few viewer questions.
