Contains an oral history by Carrie McFadden Ford, and a newspaper article about an oral history by her brother Robert C. McFadden. Both discuss their father, William McFadden, who moved to Placentia, California in 1868, where he worked as a teacher and the first Superintendent of Schools of Orange County.
