Immediate Source of Acquisition
In June 2016, the College of Humanities and Social Sciences received from a donor a collection of brass rubbings and associated materials. Dr. Ellen Caldwell and Dr. Jochen Burgtorf oversaw the process of sorting the materials and placing them into appropriate cintainers for safe sotrage. To ensure the long-term safe storage of the entire collection, and to assure accessibility for scholarly research, University Archives and Special Collections accepted a transfer of the collection in August 2019.
