Content Description
An ongoing project of UA&SC and The Chicana & Chicano Resource Center Librarian, this collaboration preserves documents related to the founding and activities of the Chicana & Chicano Resource Center (CRC) from 1972, as the Mexico & Southwest Collection, to the present. The CRC amassed a collection of over 500 audio-visual recordings documenting the Chicano Community in Orange County, CA, and events of historical and cultural significance to the University as well as local Chicano newspapers, books, journals, and magazines dating from the beginning of the Chicano Movement in Orange County.
