Biographical / Historical
The Citrus Label Society formed in 1981. According to their website, "The Citrus Label Society is a California-based club founded for the purpose of providing meeting places for citrus label collectors to gather together and exchange citrus box labels, enjoy special citrus-related programs, and to share information about the citrus industry." Lorne Allmon of Riverside, California is credited as its core founder. As of 2018 the CLS is still operational out of Fullerton, California.
