Fay MacFadden papers
The Fay MacFadden papers document the botanical work and personal life of Fay A. (MacDonald) MacFadden (1888-1964), an amateur bryologist whose plant collection formed the founding core of the herbarium at California State University, Fullerton. Spanning 1920 to 2010, with the bulk dating from 1920 to 1969, the papers consist of correspondence with botanists across North America and abroad, published and unpublished writings, research notes and illustrations, and biographical material.
