The Local History Collection focuses on the history of Orange County California and the cities within Orange County, Southern California and to a lesser extent California as a whole.
The collection includes 3860 cataloged books and pamphlets, correspondence, ephemera, manuscripts, maps, memoribilia, microfilm, papers, periodicals, posters and photographs.

Documentation and transcripts of an oral history by Lulu Launer, the wife of Albert Launer, interviewed on September 29, 1970 by Kay Heil. Conducted for California State Univeristy, Fullerton Library's Local History Project.
Subjects include conservatism in Orange County, the United Nations, permissiveness, children, reading, teaching methods, types of club work, Red Cross development in Fullerton, and children hospitals in the area and her connection with them.
Documentation includes an interview summary, agreement forms, communications with CSUF Special Collections, and a biography of Launer.
Contains two transcript copies, transcribed by Mary Ann Farrell. One copy contains handwritten editing notes.
