The University Archives Collection consists of the papers, publications, photographs, and ephemera pertaining to the mission and history of California State University, Fullerton, its units and personnel, from 1957-current date.
It includes approximately 1334 faculty, staff, student and alumni publications that are fully cataloged on the library's on-line catalog, 4607 reels of microfilm of students' master's theses (these are not cataloged) and 1080 linear feet of archival boxes. There is an alphabetical and numeric list of record groups, sub-groups, etc.

Documents pertaining to the slaying of physics professor Edward Cooperman on October 13, 1984, in his office on the sixth floor of the science building at California State University, Fullerton.
Minh Van Lam, a Vietnamnese refugee and student of Cooperman's, was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter, the trial concluding that Lam had shot Cooperman accidentally when handling Cooperman's handgun.
The trial was marked by assertions of Cooperman committing espionage for the Communist Vietnam government, and that his death was a political assassination.
