The Local History Collection focuses on the history of Orange County California and the cities within Orange County, Southern California and to a lesser extent California as a whole.

The collection includes 3860 cataloged books and pamphlets, correspondence, ephemera, manuscripts, maps, memoribilia, microfilm, papers, periodicals, posters and photographs.

Scope and Contents From the Sub-Group: The collection contains papers, generally of a business nature, received by Sterling Price of Santa Ana and Midway City, California and, to a lesser extent, by Maurice Price and J.D. Price.The bulk dates for the collection are in the years 1923-1927 and 1934-1937. Most of the papers are materials received from other people in the course of business.
